Hi friends. I’ve been a terrible blogger. I went into self-preservation mode just before the wedding and am only now emerging. I’ve missed all four of you, and I promise to update more often .

So, well, we’re married! I had the time of my life that weekend — family, friends, beautiful weather, and months of hard work coming to fruition — what more could I ask for? There were some small hitches, like my Crumbs cupcakes causing a heart attack (everyone’s fine, love you David!) and missing our flight to Hawaii for our honeymoon, but overall, I have never had more fun in my entire life. I am determined to get married every year from now on. Not entirely sure Mike agrees with that plan, though. I’ll post some of our favorite pics below and I’m planning on a bit more detailed post later this weekend. Also, check out our totally amazing photographer, Doug Phillips, for more wedding porn.

Other items of note: (1) heading out in 2 weeks for our last wedding of the year, Mike’s brother Rick (2) we’re looking for a new apartment somewhere in NY, have had some “interesting” issues with our place and (3) had a great Thanksgiving with our neighbors Diana and Thomas (I even cooked a WHOLE F*CKING TURKEY). Other than that, life’s been pretty low-key. I spent three weekends in a row in DC with the family and Mike went to North Carolina twice for Rick’s baby’s baptism (Hi Baby Norah!) and Rick’s bachelor party.

We’re looking forward to hunkering down for the winter soon and spending some more time enjoying the NY holiday season.
